Christmas Play

My little shepherd

The excitement builds!

Ethan, with Mary and Joseph

Here come the sheep crawling up the aisle!

The shepherds, snickering about the antics of the sheep

The angels sang The First Noel, there was a solo performance of Hark the Harold Angels Sing, and then the whole group sang Joy to the World, Away in the Manger, and Oh, Come All Ye Faithful.

The boys did double duty as shepherds and wise men. There are a lot more girls than boys!

I made 6 costumes (plus 1 sheep costume) for the Christmas play this year. It was so fun to have a reason to get out my sewing machine! I used a Simplicity pattern that was really easy: no zipper, 4 pieces, slides over their head, you know the kind. It was great!

Our play was a narrated skit about the birth of Christ, and it included the gospel message. The kids did such a good job, and there were only a few mishaps. One being that my sweet little sheep stole baby Jesus and THREW HIM ON THE GROUND! Thankfully, not too many people noticed his antics. :)

All in all, it was a great night!

Wow, how cute. I am sure the parents were so delighted to see their children perform and be dressed up like that. You mothers did a great job. Wish I could have been there to see it. Ethan and Simon looked adorable! And about Si, he is a cute little rascal. :) Love, Mom

Cute, cute, cute, cute, cute!!!

The costumes are wonderful. You did a great job! And I know what you mean about the joy of setting up the sewing machine and running a few seams. Bliss!

Way to go Rach! The costumes turned out great! I love the sheep one especially...Si was one cute little lamb! :)

Perhaps Si was telling you that he'd like to stay the baby of the family! They look like they had a good time. Maybe next year there will be some girl shepherds to even it out! (Rachel was a shepherdess!)

Hello there! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I'm getting fed up of Wordpress because I've had issues with
hackers and I'm looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get setup? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would
cost a pretty penny? I'm not very internet smart so I'm not 100% certain. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you're using? I'm
going to start my own blog in the near future but I'm having a difficult time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking
for something unique. P.S My apologies for
getting off-topic but I had to ask!

I'm new to building internet sites and I was wanting to know if having your website title related to your articles and other content really that important? I notice your title, "Blogger: Out of the Overflow " does appear to be spot on with what your website is about but, I prefer to keep my title less content descriptive and based more around site branding. Would you think this is a good idea or bad idea? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her
ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.

She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely
off topic but I had to tell someone!

With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems
of plagorism or copyright violation? My site has a lot
of unique content I've either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any solutions to help prevent content from being ripped off? I'd truly appreciate it.

Hiya, I am new to blogging and internet sites in general and was curious about how you got the "www" included in your domain name?
I see your domain name, "http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=31922189&postID=6551701519468927688" has the www and my web address looks like, "http://mydomain.com".
Do you know the simplest way I can alter this? I'm using Wordpress. Thanks for your time

Besides standard image-editing options, there are some things
that just drive people crazy with other Vinyl Sticker Maker booth companies.
And many women need a separate supplement to get extra calcium, since it's too bulky to fit into the process, but you'll be surprised to learn that all artistic works are protected by copyright.

I believe everything published made a lot of sense.
But, think about this, suppose you wrote a catchier title?

I ain't suggesting your content is not solid, however what if you added something that makes people want more? I mean "Christmas Play" is kinda plain. You should glance at Yahoo's front page and
see how they create post headlines to get people
to click. You might add a video or a related pic
or two to get people excited about everything've written. Just my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
