Ethan thinks so. Every day he asks to play in the sprinkler or the pool, both of which I've already pulled out of the shed and utilized this year. And it's only April! Crazy, I know. But it kept my boys occupied for soooooo long, it was marvelous. And as you can imagine, I enjoyed my afternoon of lounging on the back patio immensely. Simon had never seen the sprinkler before, so he was very intrigued.
And yes, I know, it rather embarrassing...Ethan picked out a Dora sprinkler last year. Da, Da, Dora, Da-da, Da, Dora, DORA THE EXPLORER! And if you ask me, I can sing the whole theme song. Last night, while we were driving home from Dave's softball game, Dave and I were joking around about those movies, and we started quoting lines from them. And from the backseat, a small voice piped in, "You tell Dora and Boots, to go through the valley to get to the big yellow station!"
For some reason, it totally cracked us up that our 3 year old was quoting a movie. It wasn't that long ago that he learned to talk!
Doesn't this picture bring you back to the good ol' days?
Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Sounds like everyone was happy. Aren't you excited for summer? I think is makes a mom's job easier when we aren't all confined indoors.
Cade has a huge facination with water - anywhere, anytime. Maybe it's a boy thing?
Looks like fun! That is so funny about the Dora sprinkler and also the quoting of movies. E just cracks me up. It is so fun to watch his personality grow.
Wow, they look like they were having a blast out there! Mom
Tabitha would LOVE that dora sprinkler. She looks like her and all of her stuff has Dora on it, even her bed!
They do seem to be enjoying themselves! who care what time of year it is when they look that cute?
Yup. It's that warm. My kids are out there the minute the temperature is above shivering...whatever that temp is:)
