Do you recognize any of these folks?

2 weekends ago we went to a cookout at the Drewry's for Nate's 30th birthday. Dad posted pictures here. It was so fun to reconnect with old friends, and to celebrate the birth of the guy who fell in love with my little sister. He is a wonderful husband, and a great dad too. Happy birthday, Nate!

Wow, you had more kids there than adults! They are all so cute!

Wish we could have been there too. We were in the middle of buying a house that weekend.
Looks like you all had lots of fun. I can't believe how many children there were. Times are changing.
Congrats to Sonja!

Hi Rachel,

You don't know me, but I have been reading your blog for a few months. I am so encouraged in the Lord by you and by your posts. I was wondering if you would be willing to let me ask you some questions about blogging? After much prayer and consideration, I have decided I want to start a blog. I read about how Crystal helped you start CVSing, and was wondering if you would be willing to offer me some advice on blogging. . . Please feel free to email me, or to comment on my new blog: http://redeemthetime.blogspot.com/

Thanks,
Sarah

ayuh, I liked the book too. So, is this family you're talking about your husband or is it your sister and mom?

Michelle, I don't follow you! What were you asking? My husband is in the pictures with me, and with his twin brother Doug. And my sister Ruth is pictured with Nate...she's the one who kinda looks like me!

Sorry for the confusion! I was asking which family you were talking about that reads and knows by heart "Sarah, Plain and Tall". I guess that would sound confusing without any context.

RAchel-

You are as bad as me with your updates recently:) I am taking a much-needed break from everything to do with "other" commitments right now, and it is SO nice. Or, are you and Dave on that vacation you were talking about????
